Best Trash

Provider: Best Trash, LLC The District contracts with Best Trash to provide residential garbage and recycling collection. To ensure cleaner streets and consistent service, the District has transitioned to a uniform cart system for all households.

Collection Schedule: 

  • Trash Days: Tuesday and Friday 
  • Recycling Day: Friday 
  • Service Time: All carts must be placed curbside by 7:00 a.m. on service days. 

Service Guidelines: 

  • Trash Carts: Residents are provided with a 95-gallon black cart with a red lid. This cart is for household waste. 
  • Recycling Carts: Residents are provided with a 48-gallon green cart. This cart is strictly for recyclable materials (paper, plastics #1–#5 & #7, aluminum, tin, and glass). 
  • Placement: Place carts with the handle facing the street, ensuring they are clear of mailboxes and parked cars. 
  • Storm Debris: Please note that standard collection does not cover storm debris (trees/fences downed by hurricanes) unless specifically authorized by the District.
